KENNEWICK — A gardening class for the whole family is offered by the Benton-Franklin Extension’s Master Gardening program.

The terrarium building class will be at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Waterfall classroom at the extension’s demonstration garden, 1620 S. Union St.

If the weather is too hot, the class will be inside the library, program registrar Alice Allison said.

The container gardening class is offered free of charge.
