RIBBON CUTTING — A perfect sunny day greeted the Sunnyside Food Truck Park and Farmers Market grand opening Friday, July 26 at Centennial Square. On hand for the official opening of the downtown market, from left to right, Yakima Valley Dairy Ambassador Alternate Marika VanSlageren, Miss Regal Majesty Lifetime Queen Brianna Garza, Miss Regal Majesty High Point Audrina Campos, Miss Cinco de Mayo Yulianna Correa, Sunnyside Destination committee members Tiffany Hester, Natalie Copeland, Aron Hunsaker, Sunnyside City Manager Martin Casey, Destination committee member Zac Heeren, mural painter Miquel Cabrera, Destination committee member Jory Anderson, Miss Sunnyside Princesses Gracie Van Belle and Daisy Hernandez, Miss Washington Princess Queen, Alysianna Aguirre, and Miss Yakima County Kaimey Roberts of Sunnyside. The farmers market and food truck park will be open from 4-9 p.m. Fridays, through September 6 and on 13-14, grand closing weekend.
