GRANDVIEW — A collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local No. 760 for police dispatchers and corrections officers was approved at last Tuesday’s City Council meeting.

The 3-year agreement provides dispatchers and corrections officers a 3 percent raise during 2019, another 3 percent in 2020 and 3 percent in 2021.

An entry level dispatcher will earn $3,185 per month in 2019 and $3,379 in 2021. The lead dispatcher starts the contract with a monthly income of $4,679 and in 2021 will earn $4,964.

The corrections officers’ monthly wages range from $3,783 at entry level to $4,378 for the most experienced officer in 2019. In 2021, those salaries increase to $4,014 at the entry level and $4,644 for an officer with more than 5 years of experience.
