YAKIMA — The Board of Yakima County Commissioners will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, March 14 in order for residents to express their views for or against the formation of a Lower Valley Public Hospital District.
The public hearing will be held due to a petition receiving the necessary signatures, which started after Astria in Toppenish closed their family maternity center.
The public hearing will be held at 10 a.m. at the Yakima County Courthouse located at 128 North Second Street in Yakima.
