YAKIMA — PURE Infusion Suites is a new ambulatory infusion clinic that offers biologic therapy to those with moderate to severe illnesses. PURE Infusion Suites is thrilled to serve Sunnyside, Toppenish, Zillah, and surrounding areas.
The Yakima Valley has very few, if any, infusion clinics until PURE opened in December 2022.
Their Yakima location offers three private suites, each equipped with a leather recliner, extra chair, 55” television, Netflix, blanket, with food and drinks at every visit. PURE welcomes patients with small children, family, and friends to be with them during their infusion. And because each patient has their own private suite, each visit has a “spa-like atmosphere.”
PURE provides infusions and injections for multiple sclerosis (MS), Crohn’s & Colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis, migraines, lupus, asthma and allergy, and other chronic autoimmune conditions.
“At PURE, we are committed to every patient on a more personal level,” said Sol Gonzalez, Patient Access Coordinator at PURE. “This way we can provide the highest quality of care in the comfort of their own private suite.”
The benefit for the patient is that, on average, PURE is 53% less in cost than a hospital infusion center. “The patient pays far less and gets a ‘patient-obsessed’ experience lacking in a hospital setting,” said Gonzalez. The clinic further increases affordability by offering co-pay assistance and other financial aid programs to their patients to lessen the burden.
PURE’s staffing and intake procedures allow each patient to have an infusion nurse that is dedicated to their medical care while receiving their infusion, allowing for better patient monitoring and personalized care.
The clinic is changing the way infusion and injections are being delivered by flexibility and innovative ways of delivering these therapies.
“At PURE, I know that I am in a positive vibrant space that is focused on health, happiness, and comfort,” said Misty Smyer, RN at PURE. “I look forward to helping patients experience that same feeling with every infusion.”
Jeremy Zollinger, Specialty Market Executive, has visited local specialists and family doctors in the area. PURE is being received with overwhelming support because healthcare costs have skyrocketed, infusion wait-time is 2-3 months out, and their location. Some people are driving to Seattle and Tri Cities for infusions.
“We are so excited and blessed to be in the Yakima area – giving ‘patient-obsessed’ care and putting the patient first with every infusion,” said Zollinger.
PURE accepts most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid.
The patient gets to dictate where they go – not the doctor, specialist, hospital, or healthcare clinic. There is a lack of patient education in the healthcare industry. It is the patient who has the right to determine where they get infused and PURE Infusion Suites feels they are the best option.
PURE Infusion Suites invites the public to their open house and ribbon cutting at their Yakima location, 105 South 1st Street, Suite 100 on Thursday, March 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. Food and drinks will be served.
PURE Infusion Suites is located at 105 South 1st Street, Suite 100 in Yakima. Visit www.pureinfusionsuites.com for more information.
