YAKIMA — Yakima Valley College (YVC) is now enrolling students for the spring quarter English Language Acquisition (ELA) classes. Classes combine listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with an emphasis on listening and speaking skills.
“I highly recommend this program to everyone trying to learn or improve their English,” said student Linh Heintz. “As a person who did not have much education and studying experience, I’ve learned a lot and now I am able to communicate more in English.”
Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis for the spring quarter beginning on Wednesday, March 29. Classes are available either day or night to accommodate working students. Tuition is $25 per quarter.
ELA classes are offered at five locations throughout the Yakima Valley, students are encouraged to call for site specific schedules.
