GRANGER — Driving too fast for conditions was the cause cited by troopers with the Washington State Patrol following a single-vehicle crash that injured a Granger woman.

Troopers say Toni A. Castro, 45, was attempting to merge from Granger on to I-82 eastbound at 4:55 a.m. last Friday when she lost control of the 2005 GMC pickup truck she was driving and struck a barrier.

Castro was transported to Sunnyside Community Hospital, troopers said, and her truck was impounded.

The State Patrol charged Castro for speeding too fast for conditions.
