Yakima County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Department of Fish and Wildlife are asking the public for help in identifying a burglar who struck the Sunnyside/Mabton office of the WDFW on October 4th.

It was the second burglary of the location in three months according to a YCSO Facebook post.

The suspects caused damage to the building and stole items for a combined impact of approximately $40,000.

It is believed that the person(s) used a stolen 1995 Honda to escape. The car was taken from Granger.

Anyone who knows anything is asked to contact Deputy Caleb Johnson at Caleb.Johnson@co.Yakima.wa.us. Confidential tips may be made through the crime stoppers P3 app as well.
