UPROOTED BY SEVERE WINDSTORM

Local photography enthusiast Steve Hagensicker traveled around Sunnyside, capturing felled trees due to 47 MPH winds from the Monday, Sept. 7, gusts. “We haven’t had winds like that in decades. Very unusual,” Hagensicker commented. This Nicolai Avenue tree was uprooted by the winds showing the extent of damage caused from the Canadian coldfront.
