PROSSER — Employees of one of the nation’s most productive ag research centers, the Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center or IAERC, will take a Saturday off, on Oct. 5, to help the community celebrate the center’s 100th birthday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Community partners will also lend a significant hand to create a day of discovery and celebration for one of the nation’s premier ag research center.

Activities for all are planned. The day of festivities include, Dunk the Scientist, Grape Stomp, Are You A Super Taster, Paint a Pumpkin, taste Cougar Gold and much more.

The centennial research station is located at 24106 N. Bunn Road, Prosser.
