Juanita Valdez Trevino, 59, passed away on September 12, 2021, in Mount Vernon, WA.

From 1968-1976 Juanita attended Elementary School in, Edison WA, Laredo TX, and Allen WA. In 1979 she attended Burlington Edison High School, Burlington WA. In 1980-1981 she obtained her GED at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon WA. In 1981 Juanita began clerical training and was involved with the NW Rural Opportunities Center for Employment Training, Granger WA. She had additional clerical training in Yakima WA. She became a mother on March 9, 1983, and became a grandma on November 21, 1997. She lived in Skagit County for the last 26 years.

She enjoyed taking photos of friends and family, selfies, concerts, meeting musicians, being around family and friends, drawing, watching Friends, Dancing with Stars, Spanish novellas, pets, cooking, dancing, astrology, listening to music, smiling and she was always happy.

Juanita is survived by her children, Connie and Rick G. of Kent WA, Nicole and Victor Barajas, Juan-Luis Barajas of Mount Vernon WA; her grandchildren, Joey, Ricky, Nayomi and Anthony; her parents Frank and Leti Trevino. She is also survived by Chela Tapia of Houston TX, brothers Raul, Reye, Nico Trevino and various nieces and one nephew of Mount Vernon WA.

A private family memorial service will be held due to Covid with a limited number of friends who are fully vaccinated.
