The Yakima Valley Fair and Rodeo are only a couple of days away, and we urge you to attend.

The Yakima Valley Fair and Rodeo organizers will put on their 92nd show this year. They do it for you, and they deserve to be rewarded.

If you never worked on this type of project, you have no idea what it takes in work. As soon as one fair is ended, the Fair board goes to work on the next one. At the same time, the members of the Fair Foundation Board go to work raising funds in support of the fair.

Admittedly, attendance at the Fair has gone down in recent years, but the rodeo attendance is as good as ever. All involved are seeking ways to improve the fair and get the audience back.

That’s where you come in. Come to the fair to, at least, show your appreciation for the folks who do the work. They are volunteers, and all of your monetary support will go toward an improving fair.
