Several athletes commit to colleges

PROSSER — Mustang football players kicked of a couple days of area athletes signing letters of intent to compete for colleges.

Prosser football players Jordan Garcia and Eddie Lopez-Rojas sign letters of intent to play football for Lewis and Clark Valley College on April 16.

Garcia plans to be a wide receiver and Lopez-Rojas will be an offensive lineman.

At Sunnyside Christian, Sailor Liefke signed a letter to play basketball for the “Warriors,” school officials said.

And in Zillah, three athletes signed letters.

Leopards track athletes Jenny Nobbs, Jace Zeigler and Kalen Jonson all signed letters of intent to compete for the Northwest Nazarene University Nighthawks next year in Nampa, Idaho.
