SUNNYSIDE — The Sunnyside Little Grapplers brought 35 medals home last Saturday from the Eisenhower wrestling tournament in Yakima.

“As expected, it was a good tourney for us,” coach Daniel Guillen said of his team of wrestlers ages 5-14. “We did very well and brought home a lot of hardware.”

Guillen said there were a few surprises and a few heartbreaks from the 52 wrestlers he had competing.

“We will learn from our mistakes and will hit the mats again this week and be ready for battle next Saturday,” he said.

On Saturday, March 17, the Grapplers will head to Granger to compete in a tournament there.
